At 46, Smaragda struggles with failed relationships, a stagnant career, and financial strain. After her mother’s death, she moves into her home in Ayia Napa, taking care of her guide dog. With a great concern for environment and a longing for change, she dives into social media, entertains children at a tourist resort, and embarks on an unexpected journey of self-discovery. Gradually, she realizes that with her friends’ support and her own determination, she can face anything.

Inspired by the life of a someone close to him, Emilios Avraam’s feature debut explores existence, companionship, legacy, and the pressure to conform in a world that is often harsh and unjust, yet still full of beauty.
