WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19 at 16:00
GOETHE INSTITUT (14-16 Omirou, Athens) – Auditorium

The 38th Panorama of European Cinema sets as its central tribute this year the "Cinema of the Weimar Republic"from 1919 to 1933

A movement with a unique place in the history of world cinema, not only for its renewing artistic vision, but also because it constitutes the best record of the historical and social period that led to the rise of the far right and the emergence of Hitler. An era that – unfortunately – draws many parallels with the global climate of our days.

As part of the program, the conference will take place on Wednesday, November 19 at 16:00 at 16:00

"The Cinema of the Weimar Republic"
