The arrival of Lane\u2019s controlling mother complicates things even further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his 16th feature, Woody Allen delivers a dramatic character study filled with tension, unexpressed desires, family disclosures and unhealed emotional wounds. With strong Chekhovian influences, a theatrical tone, powerful dialogue, a mother-daughter dynamic, autumnal melancholy, and the inescapable weight of the past...
