. The enchanting dancer Lulu captivates everyone with her sensuality and carefree spirit. The prominent publisher Dr. Schön breaks off his engagement for her sake and clashes with his social circle. Αριστούργημα του βωβού κινηματογράφου και του γερμανικού εξπρεσιονισμού, το  -ιδιαίτερα τολμηρό για την εποχή του- σκοτεινό μελόδραμα του Pabst, έγινε σύμβολο τόσο του φεμινισμού όσο και της φιγούρας της femme fatale. Η ταινία δεν θα ήταν ίδια χωρίς την εκπληκτική Λούλου της Louise Brooks -πρώην χορεύτρια των Ziegfeld και θρυλική προσωπικότητα.
